Last night we did another couple of hours filming for the performance in the max. we’ve got most of the shots now, i think we’ll only need one more filming session for the chorus and then we should have enough shots for that 
In media today we uploaded the material from last night and continued editing the chorus’s.
I have just found an amazing website which will help us with the newspaper article!
I have played around with the different designs and we have now decided on the heading and subheading of the newspaper.
We can continue with this in tomorrow’s frees when we are all together.
yesterday we did some more editing for our video, and were able to acknowledge that some of the shots had bad framing, and could do with being cut down a bit.
on monday we will begin filming the narrative during our frees and after school we’ll be filming more of the performance 
After school on wednesday we stayed to do some editing on the macs of the footage we had gathered from both the filming sessions.
We experimented with the clips and found that the second filming footage was better than the first so we started to cut down the clips and then added it to our timeline.
On tuesday evening we had our second filming session. We started to get the instruments at 4.15 as the max was being used up until this time.
Setting up was a lot quicker this time as we knew where everything was going and all of the equipment required. The boys didn’t need to tune their guitars this time either.
We experimented with the lights and chose the ones we thought looked the best. The song wouldn’t play so we went to ask the theatre teacher to come and help us.
We then started to film. We focused on particular aspects and concentrated on these one at a time in order. We used lots of close ups of the drummer and vocalist. Whist we used longer shots of the guitarists. We were filming until about 6.30 (we would of stayed longer but we got asked to leave!). This gave us lots to edit and means we know what parts we need to film next time. Plus once the video has imported onto the mac then we can see if there are any parts we need to re-film.
We also chose our next film date. We have decided monday after school would be best for everyone. This will hopefully be the last session we need on the performance side. Also during the day on monday we will start to film the narrative part.
Last night poppy and lauren filmed some more shots for the chorus, they managed to get lots done which need to be uploaded to the max later to be edited. As i werent there, i have been assured that eveything went to plan and the band co operated well and got things done done quickly than monday evening and were ready to film a lot quickly than before.
Last night we filmed more shots for the performance. We managed to get a lot of shots which need to be uploaded to the macs later on this afternoon. Due to being a person short, we were slightly more under pressure but coped well due to the co operation of the band, and after having filmed the day before we were ready to film a lot quicker.
Later on we hope to upload last nights work and edit what we have so far!
On Tuesday we uploaded the footage from Monday night. We cut down some clips and have already put some of the clips into place. We then scheduled out the shots we needed to use for filming after school and realised we still had quite a lot of filming to go! We also discussed altering the lighting again as some parts were still too dark when they were uploaded to the macs.
On Monday we began filming the performance after school. It took a while for everyone to get ready but having spent a few hours after school with no interuptions, we managed to get loads of footage for the video. We all co operated really well eventhough we were only able to film for 2 and a half hours. We focussed mainly on shots of the band, and altered the lighting accordingly. Unfortunately the lighting we wanted to use originally was too dark on screen and so we had to make it brighter. We learnt quite a lot on our first day of filming which we were able to use on Tuesday evening.
Yesterday the fourth original member of the band (who was not able to perform due to now living in London) came back. Therefore he was able to join in with the performance. He adapted to the song very quickly and had already learnt it. Having the fourth member worked extremely well as it not only looked better on camera but he was willing to go crazy and do some ‘busted moves’ as he put it.
