Our group came to a decision to use the song,    The Script - fall for anything

The song we have chosen to make a video for is the script - fall for anything, it is on their debut album titled ‘We cry’ the duration of the song is 4.34 minutes. The reasons we choose this video are simple, we needed a song which is good quality not jut one that could be easy to make a video for. Also we needed a song with a decent duration, this is so we can get in all the ideas that we want. Aslo we were told that we could not use a song that already has a video.

Song We Have Chosen
A possible song my group has chosen to create a music video for is called “Fall for Anything” by The Script. I think this would be a great song to use for our music video as it is a good upbeat indie song, that would fit with a lot of ideas my group has for the video. The song has a very catchy chorus, meaning we could use the convetion of repation very effectivley in our video. The song is 4:34 minutes long, and so it is an appropriate length song to use. The song that was released on The Scripts debut album does not have an official video by the band as of yet, and so we are using a non commercial song for our music video. The Streets - Fit but you know it

This video is a great example of synchronization between not only the speed of the music and the video but also the lyrics. The song is fast pace and tells a story of a holiday. The video shows the lead singer looking through the photos from the holiday as he tells the story. Also the pace of music matches the pace of the video, the lyrics and rythm are fast paced, this goes very well with the speed of the video. The lead singer is walking round the streets very fast flicking through the photos quickly. Another good idea is how the photos move and he is then singing to the camera through the picture.

Them white stripes - the hardest button to button, directed by Michael Gondrey

This video is probably the most famous for using the repitition technique, Directed by Michael Gondrey and like a lot of his videos it is a simnple idea which is very effective. The two members of the band are being moved about by use of the camera, as you can see the music matches the speed and rhythm of the video very well.
